I teach cello to Grade 8 and double bass and theory up to Grade 5. I teach students of all ages from 3 to Retirees.
Lessons are 30 minutes in length for beginners. As you reach the higher grades then lessons need to be longer to cover all the material and so 45 minutes may become necessary. For those wishing to take practical exams there is a requirement for Grade 5 theory before practical exams of Grade 6 and above can be taken with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Prices for lessons are normally £16 for 30 minutes, £24.00 for 45 minutes. Teaching and Grade books are purchased by the student. I can supply them however these will be charged as additions.
